In just a few shirt months I will be turning 29 in Munich!!! Matt will be drinking German beer the way our forefathers intended at Oktoberfest!!! And if Jesus really loves me I will be fist bumping the Pope!!!

I've never been to Germany, but I did spend a few days in Rome a couple years ago. I'm sure you are already planning to visit the Colosseum, but I wanted to suggest paying the extra to have a guided tour. There are a lot of people standing outside and around the Colosseum offering tours, but we just went with the one "official" one offered by the Colosseum. Let me just say, I have visited tons of historic sites and taken plenty of tours, but the Colosseum tour was seriously one of the most interesting tours I have ever taken. Even my friends that hate history (and tours) loved it.
